#012 – Sunday Falls

Painted in 2014 from a photo taken by the artist of Sunday Falls whilst walking in the Drakensberg Royal Natal Park South Africa in 1983. The water was icy cold but provided a refreshing shower on a hot hazy day. The hills in the background are imaginary as the walk was below the famouse amphitheatre as used in the film Zulu.
